My Saturday Night Date

I have a new favorite Walmart checkout woman (they're always changing and in flux).   Her name is Desiree, happily married, about 30ish, and from Ohio and since I usually do my weekly Walmart shopping on Saturday evenings, Desiree evidently works on most or all Saturday nights as we've had many good laughs the past several Saturday nights.

This past Saturday night, as she began scanning my items, I told her, "Your husband is probably not going to like this......"

Desiree interrupted, "Uh-oh."

I continued, "But I really have no choice but to call you..... 'My Saturday Night Date'," causing Desiree to laugh.

I then asked her, "Am I right about that?"

Desiree replied, "Oh, yeah. He wouldn't like that, at all."

I finished by saying, "Well, if it's any consolation, it doesn't last very long," causing both of us to have a good laugh.
